Treatment is planned case by case: we take the records, explain what can be moved and in what time, and follow the case through to the retainer.

Fixed, removable, or aligners
Fixed braces, in metal or transparent brackets, handle most of the alignment work. Removable appliances are used in growing patients, where the aim is to guide the jaws rather than only the teeth. Clear aligners suit selected cases and are planned digitally from the start.
Which of the three applies is not a matter of preference alone: it depends on what has to be moved. We say so at the consultation, before anything is fitted.
After the appliance comes off
Teeth move back if nothing holds them. A retainer, fixed or removable, is part of the treatment and not an extra: it is what keeps the result. Guards for bruxism are made in the same laboratory, from the same scan.
